Numerica in the Community

Our Commitment
Numerica Credit Union has a strong commitment to the needs of communities where we live and work. Our giving focus is on projects that support women and children. In addition to financial contributions, Numerica employees serve our communities by volunteering their time.

Requests for large monetary donations ($500 or more) are granted annually, with budget planning taking place in Sept. of each year. All requests must be submitted formally to Numerica Credit Union according to the guidelines.

Requests for less than $500 should be made in writing and directed to the Community Involvement Committee, PO Box 4000, Spokane Valley, WA 99037. Requests may also be submitted using the online request form below.

  • Our primary focus for monetary charitable contributions will be to those organizations, events, projects and programs whose goal is to help women and children in the communities where we live and work.
  • Our focus for community events will be on organizations/events that will provide Numerica with high visibility and generate positive goodwill/publicity for Numerica within the communities where we live and work.

Numerica Credit Union will consider the following in granting a charitable contribution.

  • Familiarity with the cause and its service to women and children.
  • Impact of our contribution on the organization's cause and number of individuals affected.
  • Recognition of contribution.
  • Program's ability to help improve the quality of life of women and children in our communities.
  • 501 (c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service.

Numerica Credit Union generally will not consider making contributions to the following groups:

  • Political or partisan organizations
  • Religious, labor or fraternal groups, unless the group is sponsoring an event or activity that is to help women or children
  • Individuals who are seeking funds for personal endeavors
  • Trips and tours
  • Capital Campaigns
  • For profit organizations
