Putting local love in action

At Numerica, community is a verb. In fact, it’s a lot of verbs.

It all ties back to our verb-packed purpose: enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams, and building communities. Roll the film on a recent example:

Charitable Fund

The Numerica Charitable Fund is a member-funded initiative supporting local nonprofits. Members pay a small fee to participate in Skip a Pay, a program available on certain Numerica loans, and those fees build the Charitable Fund. This money then supports the efforts of nonprofits facing systemic issues such as generational poverty, hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, and access to quality education.

Living well begins with helping others. That’s why the Numerica team prioritizes sharing time and talent in the community — to the tune of more than 140,000 volunteer hours logged in the past 10 years!

Numerica consistently shares volunteer opportunities and offers employees eight hours of paid volunteer time each year to give back to causes close to their heart. So don’t be surprised to find a Numerica team member:

  • Sorting food at Second Harvest
  • Distributing Thanksgiving meals with Tom’s Turkey Drive
  • Sharing lunch with a student through Communities in Schools
  • Walking or training dogs at the Wenatchee Humane Society
  • Stocking the Credit Union Closet at Goodwill Industries of the Columbia

From rolling up our sleeves to putting on our dancing shoes, getting involved is about making a difference. Being a part of something bigger. Supporting a better place to live. We volunteer because it enhances lives, fulfills dreams, and builds communities.
