Offer valid for new construction-to-permanent home mortgage loans originated with Numerica Credit Union. Applications will be accepted between April 1 – May 31, 2026. Loans are conditioned upon the borrower completing the construction-to-permanent loan conversion with Numerica Credit Union and must close prior to September 30, 2026. Qualified borrowers may receive a promotional lender credit of up to $5,000 applied solely toward allowable closing costs at settlement. The promotional Credit cannot be received as cash by the borrower and cannot exceed the total amount of allowable closing costs or be applied toward down payment, prepaid items, or escrow funding unless permitted by loan program guidelines. The lender credit is non-transferable, and cannot be applied to another loan, property, or borrower.  The credit is valid only for the closing of the permanent loan related to the above-reference construction loan and may be void if the loan does not close or if material loan terms change requiring loan re-approval. All loans are subject to credit approval, underwriting requirements, and property eligibility. Membership eligibility required. Programs, rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice. This offer may not be combined with other promotions or discounts unless expressly permitted.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS A LENDER CREDIT?

A lender credit is money your lender applies toward your closing costs: the fees and expenses you pay when you finalize your mortgage. Closing costs often range from about 2% to 5% of a home’s purchase price and are paid in addition to your down payment.

With this promotion, Numerica provides $5,000 in lender credits that can be used to help cover eligible closing costs when you finance your new construction home.

WHAT IS A CONSTRUCTION LOAN?

A construction loan helps finance the building of a new home, up to 80% of the home’s estimated value. During construction, you typically make interest-only payments, and once the home is complete, the loan transitions into a traditional mortgage.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROMOTION?

Members who apply for a Numerica new construction-to-permanent home loan by May 31, 2026, may qualify for $5,000 in lender credits toward closing costs, subject to approval and loan requirements. The loan must close by September 30, 2026, and convert to permanent financing with Numerica.

DO I NEED A BUILDER OR PLANS BEFORE APPLYING FOR A CONSTRUCTION LOAN?

Not necessarily. Many people start by talking with a lender to understand their financing options before finalizing a builder or construction plans. A Numerica home loan expert can help you understand how construction financing works and what steps to take next as you plan your home build.
