Meet Joel Keller

Bio

Joel believes strong financial leadership starts with purpose: creating lasting value for members, employees, and the communities served by Numerica Credit Union.

As Numerica’s Chief Financial Officer, Joel oversees the organization’s finance, treasury, accounting, legal, and risk functions. With more than 30 years of experience in the credit union and banking sectors, he helps Numerica grow with intention and invest in what matters most: its members.

Before joining Numerica, Joel held CFO roles at 1st Capital Bank, Liberty Bay Credit Union, Liberty Bank, Charter Private Bank, and First Federal Bank. He has led financial transformations, guiding organizations through growth and change, always with a focus on stability, transparency, and member value.

At Numerica Credit Union, Joel uses his experience to:

• Support intentional growth across departments and regions

Joel holds a master’s degree in finance from Seattle University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Whitman College. Born and raised in Central Washington, Joel has built his career across the Pacific Northwest, New England, and California’s Central Coast. Outside the office, he enjoys the challenge of the golf course, the delight of the kitchen, and the excitement of taking on new adventures.
