President and CEO
As president and CEO of Numerica Credit Union, Carla Cicero is recognized for her strategic leadership and deep commitment to the communities Numerica serves.
She leads with purpose, advancing Numerica’s mission to enhance lives, fulfill dreams, and build communities. Under her leadership, Numerica has grown to more than $5 billion in assets under management and has branches across Eastern and Central Washington and North Idaho.

Beyond Numerica, Carla serves on the boards of Rosauers Supermarkets, and the Coeur d’Alene Area Economic Development Corporation, Comma Community Journalism Lab. She serves on the Greater Spokane Incorporated’s Regional Advisory Committee. She is also an active member of Coeur d’Alene Rotary.
With more than 40 years in the credit union movement, Carla has contributed at the regional, national, and global levels. She has served on the boards of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), the World Council of Credit Unions, and the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES), where she was inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame in 2010.
Her leadership has earned numerous honors, including the Athena International Leadership Award, American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions recognition, Spokane Journal of Business’ Person of Influence, and the YWCA Women of Achievement Award for Business & Industry.
Under Carla’s leadership, Numerica has received the Newsweek Best Regional Credit Union Award, Girls Scouts Echo Award, Wenatchee World World’s Best Credit Union Award, and multiple Best Place to Work honors.
Prior to joining Numerica, Carla served 19 years as president and CEO of CitizensFirst Credit Union (now Verve) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and has completed executive education through CUES and MIT.
Outside of work, Carla is passionate about serving the poor and marginalized. She enjoys sailing, golfing, good wine, and time with her family.
