We are excited to announce Numerica’s proposed merger with SELCO Community Credit Union. Learn what this means for you.

Driven by building a stronger future for our members, employees, and communities, Numerica Credit Union and SELCO Community Credit Union of Springfield, Oregon have signed a definitive agreement to merge as equals.
Two Pacific Northwest credit unions. More opportunity to help our members thrive. Together, Numerica and SELCO believe our members deserve a financial partner that is dedicated to their success today and prepared to support them tomorrow.
Numerica and SELCO share a commitment to supporting the financial well-being of our combined 325,000 members across the Pacific Northwest and the communities we serve.

Our commitment is to make this transition as clear, transparent, and seamless as possible.
As we move through the merger process, we’ll provide information about any changes well in advance.

Driven by the opportunity to do more for our members, Numerica Credit Union and SELCO Community Credit Union (SELCO) have entered into an agreement to merge, bringing together two financially strong, member-owned credit unions with shared commitments to service, financial well-being, community impact, and long-term strength.
Over the coming months, Numerica and SELCO will officially move forward in the planned merger following all necessary approvals.
The merger creates more opportunities and benefits for our members, strengthening our resources and capabilities while allowing for additional investments in our members, employees, and communities.
The combined nearly $8 billion credit union will serve approximately 325,000 members and employ more than 1,100 people across three states.
There are no immediate changes for members. Your accounts, online banking access, debit and credit cards, checks, and branch access remain unchanged, and your deposits will continue to be federally insured by the NCUA for up to $250,000. We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible, ensuring your uninterrupted access to your money.
Until the merger is approved and completed, Numerica and SELCO will continue to operate as independent organizations.
There are no plans to close branches as part of the proposed merger. Upon completion of the merger, members of the combined organization will have access to 38 branch locations across three states.
Yes. This merger requires member approval, along with the necessary regulatory approvals, before it can be finalized.
Eligible members will receive additional information about the voting process, timing, and how to participate.
Absolutely. Both organizations’ boards and executive leadership teams unanimously support and approve of the proposed merger.
Upon completion of the merger, Carla Cicero, Numerica’s current President and CEO, will lead the combined organization. Bob Newcomb, current SELCO President and CEO, plans to retire after the completion of the legal merger.
The proposed merger creates opportunities for employees as the organizations come together. Numerica and SELCO are committed to maintaining supportive workplaces and communicating with employees throughout the process.
The proposed merger must go through several steps before it can become final. First, Numerica and SELCO will seek the required regulatory approvals from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the Oregon State Department of Financial Institutions, and the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions.
Once the required regulatory approvals are received, Numerica’s members will have an opportunity to vote on the proposed merger.
While the approval process is underway, both organizations will continue to operate independently. At the same time, we will be doing the planning and preparation needed to bring our organizations together.
Our focus extends beyond Legal Day 1 to Operational Day 1, making sure we are thoughtfully preparing for how the combined organization will serve members, support employees and operate effectively from the start.
The combined credit union will retain the name Numerica Credit Union.
We know our brand is deeply connected to the relationships we've built with our members and communities and preserving that identity is an important part of the opportunity ahead.
