About Chief Financial Officer, Cory Bartheld

Cory Bartheld helps ensure Numerica has the financial strength to serve members today while preparing for tomorrow. As chief financial officer, he oversees the credit union's finance, treasury, and accounting functions, helping guide long-term strategy and position Numerica for sustainable growth.

Cory brings more than 20 years of executive financial leadership experience. Before joining Numerica, he served as managing director and head of Financial Planning & Analysis for Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) Americas, leading enterprise-wide financial planning, profitability analysis, executive reporting, and capital planning. He also served as divisional Chief Financial Officer for MUFG Union Bank's Community Banking Group, where he helped guide the financial strategy of one of the bank's largest business divisions. Throughout his career, Cory has specialized in financial and strategic planning, capital management, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, profitability analysis, and organizational transformation.

As a member of Numerica's executive leadership team, Cory partners across the organization to support sound financial decisions that strengthen the credit union, support sustainable growth, and create lasting value for members and communities.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, Cory earned bachelor's degrees in accounting, finance, and a minor in mathematics from Washington State University, graduating magna cum laude.

Outside of work, Cory enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his alma mater, Washington State University.
