Technology donations strengthen communities

From summer camps to community services, Numerica's technology donations are helping local nonprofits expand their impact across our region.

Giving technology a second life

For many nonprofits, having the right technology can mean the difference between reaching someone in need or missing them entirely.

That's why Numerica's technology donation program helps ensure local organizations have the tools they need to serve, connect, and make a difference in our communities. This year, 6 organizations received equipment that will help them stay connected, work more efficiently, and expand their impact in the communities they serve.

Donations that power community impact

Numerica donated 31 laptops, 9 desktop computers, and 11 monitors to:

Now in the hands of local nonprofits, these devices are helping organizations make an even bigger impact

Helping local nonprofits make a difference

At Camp STIX, a summer camp for children and teens living with diabetes throughout the Northwest, the timing couldn't have been better.

"Thank you so much for the donated laptops! This came at the perfect time as we are getting ready for camp," said Molly Marshall, program manager at Camp STIX. "They will definitely be put to good use tracking blood sugars for our campers."

For Central Washington Disability Resources, the donated technology will help connect more people to critical services and opportunities. The equipment will support outreach efforts and help staff better serve individuals throughout Central Washington, particularly in rural communities where access can be a challenge.

Meeting a growing community need

The demand for technology donations continues to grow

Numerica fulfilled every technology donation request received during this year's donation cycle. Even so, the need continues to grow.

"We've already received more than 75 requests for the next round of donations — more than double the number we were able to support this year," said Lindsay Box, Community Impact and Communications Coordinator at Numerica. "That's why community support matters more than ever."

More than a computer

Every donated device represents an opportunity.

A child can attend camp with the support they need. A family can connect with resources. A nonprofit can reach more people. A neighbor can access services that improve their quality of life.

Because behind every investment of technology, time, and resources is something bigger: stronger communities and more opportunities for people to thrive.

Supporting communities across Eastern Washington and beyond

Numerica is proud to partner with local nonprofits that strengthen the places we call home. Together, we're helping create opportunities for individuals and families throughout Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Wenatchee, and surrounding communities.
