Record growth reflects member demand across the region

A first home. A growing business. A reliable vehicle. A long-planned renovation.

Behind every loan is a member taking the next step toward a goal.

In March, Numerica Credit Union funded $114.8 million in loans, the strongest lending month in the organization's history and 167% of its monthly lending goal.

The record-setting month reflects strong demand from members across Eastern Washington, Central Washington, and North Idaho, as well as years of investment in people, technology, products, and member experience.

"This milestone is a significant achievement and represents years of strategic investment in our people, technology, products, and member experience," said Carla Cicero, Numerica president and CEO.

"What makes me most proud of this lending growth is the impact behind it. Our core purpose of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams, and building communities is reflected in every loan that helps a member achieve a goal, grow a business, or reach an important financial milestone."

Strong performance across every lending area

The record was driven by growth across Numerica's lending teams, including:

Together, these teams helped more members access the financial tools they need to buy homes, expand businesses, finance vehicles, and invest in their futures.

"I'm incredibly grateful to our lending teams across the organization whose expertise and commitment to serving members made this achievement possible," Cicero said.

Growth that benefits members

Since Cicero joined Numerica in 2012, the credit union has grown from approximately 93,000 members and $1.19 billion in assets to more than 178,000 members and $4.2 billion in assets today.

That growth has supported continued investment in member services, including enhanced digital banking capabilities, expanded ATM access, innovative savings tools like DreamUp, and new branch locations.

Most recently, Numerica broke ground on its 24th branch location in Moses Lake, expanding access to financial services in Central Washington.

Investing in the communities we serve

Numerica's growth extends beyond financial services.

Recent community investments include the Numerica Veterans Arena naming partnership and the Numerica Heroes Fund, a 10-year, $1 million commitment supporting veteran and military service organizations throughout the region.

As Numerica continues to grow, its focus remains the same: helping members achieve their goals while strengthening the communities they call home.

Looking ahead

The record-setting month marks an important milestone, but for Numerica, success is measured by more than numbers.

It's measured in the businesses that open their doors, the families that purchase homes, the vehicles that get people where they need to go, and the dreams that move one step closer to reality.
