Receives Raddon Crystal Performance Award for 2nd straight year
May 5, 2022
SPOKANE VALLEY — Recognized for growth, financial ratios, and efficiency, Numerica Credit Union received the Raddon 2021 Crystal Performance Award — its second consecutive year claiming the distinguished honor. With more than 500 credit unions evaluated nationwide, Numerica ranked among the top 11 for organizations larger than $1 billion in assets.
To receive this data-driven award, credit unions are analyzed on financials, product performance, and member household relationships. The 2021 awards are considered “one of the best industrywide benchmarks” for performance standards during the pandemic, according to Raddon.
“The Crystal Performance Award becomes a tool for us to see what the credit union is doing right and where we can improve,” said Carla Cicero, Numerica’s president and CEO. “Our team strives to not just meet, but surpass financial goals. Numerica is always focused on providing exceptional service to our members, and we’re honored that our core purpose of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams, and building communities is recognized through awards like this.”
On the Raddon Performance Index, Numerica was a top-performer in deposit balances, return on assets, and other categories. For post-COVID strategies, Numerica continued to focus on financial wellness and creating a vibrant corporate culture.
Numerica’s commitment to the community goes beyond fulfilling financial dreams. In 2021, Numerica donated $1.4 million toward organizations who foster education, support women and children, and work to end hunger and homelessness. Numerica also offers team members a paid day off every year to volunteer. Over the past 10 years, Numerica team members have volunteered more than 140,000 hours.
“We believe in answering the call for help, whether that’s in someone’s financial situation or supporting causes in our communities,” Cicero said. “Through volunteering, fundraising, or sponsoring an event, Numerica wants to make that difference. I couldn’t be more proud of our team members as they work to make an impact.”
